At the Selston & Sherwood cavy shows we are going to be running the sales pens a little differently in future. From May 3rd 2009 onwards, new rules will be in place regarding the use of sales pens.
*There will be a limit of 3 sales pens maximum for any exhibitor who wishes to make use of them. These must be booked at time of entering.
*The cost of the sales pens will be £1 per pen, paid for in advance.
*Up to 2 adult pigs or 3 baby pigs will be the maximum limit allowed per pen with no 'refilling' once a pig has been sold.
* Hay and water/wet food must be provided for each pen by the seller.
*The card writers will be in charge of the sales pens and will oversee any sales from them - not the breeders themselves, who will be asked not to stand there selling their own pigs.
